£105-£115 per day

Long Term Futures is seeking a caring, attentive and nurturing Nursery Assistant to support a baby room within a welcoming and well-established nursery in Walthamstow.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in early years or childcare, particularly working with babies, who understands the importance of creating a safe, calm and stimulating environment to support early development.
About the Role
Working closely with the nursery team, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting babies with daily care routines, including feeding, changing and sleep schedules
- Creating a safe, warm and nurturing environment for young children
- Supporting early sensory and developmental activities
- Building strong relationships with children, staff and parents
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and safeguarding
- Assisting with setting up activities and keeping the room organised

Observing and supporting early development milestones
This is a hands-on role where patience, attentiveness and a genuine passion for early years care are essential.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting, ideally with babies
- Understanding of early childhood development
- Calm, caring and nurturing approach
- Comfortable supporting personal care routines
