A&G Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Factory Operative for our client based just outside Reading. This role supports the production of high-quality timber packaging used across various industries.
This position is within the timber/wood section, so previous experience working with wood is essential.
Own transport is ideal due to the location.
Factory Operative – Temp to Perm (for the right candidate)
Location: Outskirts of Reading
Pay: £13.00/hour (increase after 3-month probation)
Overtime: £19.50/hour
Start: Immediate
Hours:

Mon–Thurs: 08:00–16:30

Fri: 08:00–15:30
Main Duties:

Assist with daily timber packaging and manufacturing operations

Work with wood and timber materials

Operate and maintain machinery (full training provided)

Cut, assemble, and handle timber products

Manage stock and incoming materials

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Follow all health & safety procedures
Ideal Candidate:
-
Proven experience working with wood/timber (essential)

Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment

Good attention to detail
-
Machine operation or DIY/carpentry skills are advantageous

Reliable, hands-on, and willing to learn
