Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking a Multiskilled Operative to work with our client based in Liverpool within a social housing environment. This is a temporary assignment working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday., and will involve carrying out responsive and planned maintenance duties across residential properties.
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Multiskilled Operative with a strong background in housing repairs and property maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience working in social housing, council, housing association or residential settings, delivering high quality maintenance and repairs services.
Main Duties:

Carry out a range of repairs and maintenance work across residential housing stock

Deliver responsive repairs and void property works within agreed timescales

Work across multiple trades including joinery, plumbing, plastering, carpentry, painting and decorating

Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on first visit where possible

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements

Work independently and manage daily workload efficiently

Liaise with tenants, supervisors and housing teams as required

Maintain accurate records of work completed
Essential Criteria:

Proven experience as a Multiskilled Operative or similar role within a property maintenance setting

Ability to demonstrate competency in at least three trade areas, ideally within joinery, plumbing or plastering

NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent qualification in a relevant trade

Strong understanding of responsive repairs and void property maintenance

Full UK driving licence

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Experience working in social housing, local authority or housing association environments is desirable
