Due to this continued success, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Estimator to join their expanding Pre-Construction team. You don’t necessarily need to come from a traditional estimating background. The business is open to individuals from Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or other construction-related disciplines who are looking to transition into a pre-construction/estimating role.
The Role:
You’ll be supporting the Estimating team across a diverse range of projects, gaining exposure to the full tendering process while working closely with experienced senior professionals.
Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions

Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

Supporting with take-offs and bill of quantities

Liaising with the supply chain to obtain competitive quotations

Helping to build up cost plans and pricing strategies

Contributing to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives

About You:

Background in construction (e.g. QS, Engineering, or similar)
