Delegate Bookings Administrator / Conference Administrator
Location: Woking, Surrey (GU22)
Contract: Permanent, full-time (after successful 6‑month probation)

OPR Resourcing Specialists are working exclusively with a well-established, research-led conference and events organisation based in Woking, who are looking to recruit a Delegate Bookings Administrator to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate, or someone keen to move into the events and conferences industry. Full training will be provided.
The Role
As Delegate Bookings Administrator, you will play a key role in the smooth delivery of both virtual and in‑person events, acting as a first point of contact for delegates and supporting the wider events team with day-to-day administration.
Key responsibilities include:

Acting as the first point of contact for delegate and client enquiries

Processing delegate bookings accurately for virtual and in-person events using event management systems (full training provided)

Administering payments, including raising invoices and chasing payments

Producing confirmation letters and joining instructions

Creating and maintaining delegate lists and producing delegate badges for live events

Updating and managing client and delegate data before and after events

Attending virtual and in-person events to support setup, registration and delegate queries

Supporting general office administration, including data entry, filing and ordering office supplies

Carrying out any other reasonable administrative duties to support operations and marketing activity
About You
This role would suit someone organised, personable and keen to build a career within events.
Ideal requirements:

Previous experience in a customer service or office-based administrative role

Any experience with bookings, registration systems or events administration is advantageous but not essential

A professional, friendly and confident telephone manner

Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi‑task in a busy environment

Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Ideally lives locally and holds a driving licence
