CareerMakers Recruitment are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Supervisor on behalf of our client based in Bradford, BD5.
Responsibilities

Upon receipt of Sales Order Picking List, produce purchase orders for any non-stock items and issue to suppliers using price book at all times. – requesting manufacturing drawings from Technical department as and when required.

Liaise with suppliers and hauliers to progress orders, etc.

Monitor Stock Levels and re-align in line with trends/requirements.

Complete Stocktakes of all Stores periodically and at year end.

Arrange delivery of goods from suppliers in line with despatch requirement dates.

Ensure all components are quality checked and meet specified requirements as per manufacturing drawings.

Organise / complete in-house modifications as and when necessary.

Check PO delivery documents with order paperwork and log on Sage. Any items that need to be returned to the supplier, follow the return procedure

Ensure consignments are ready to be despatched to meet agreed delivery dates. Liaise with warehouse personnel on a daily basis with regards what is happening that day, ‘in and out’/stock movement.

Despatch consignment once OK’d by SOP and organise haulier/carrier collection.

Record carriage costs for authorisation of haulier invoices.

Log any returned ‘sales’ goods on applicable paperwork and pass to SOP within 2 working days.

Ongoing improvements of warehouse layouts and procedures to be considered. Discuss with colleagues and implement where appropriate.

If required, assist with Building & Property Maintenance.
