The Systems Administrator plays a key role in delivering and maintaining secure, reliable and high quality technical solutions across Cantium’s hybrid cloud and on‑premise environments. The role ensures systems are implemented, supported and improved in line with architecture standards and business needs.
What you’ll be doing
Deliver and maintain technical solutions across hybrid cloud and on‑premise environments.
Administer IT infrastructure and services to ensure security, availability and data integrity.
Implement cloud and on‑prem solutions in line with architecture principles and best practice.
Act as the technical resource for cloud technology projects and respond to technical queries.
Analyse new software releases and recommend upgrade and implementation plans.
Investigate, diagnose and resolve technical and service‑related issues.
Collaborate with third‑party suppliers to obtain, install and test corrective fixes.
Produce standards, procedures and documentation for technical solutions and disaster recovery.
Implement system changes, maintenance routines, and project deliverables.
Create and maintain LLDs, change requests, and support documentation.
Be prepared to contribute to the out‑of‑hours support rota with scheduled periods agreed in advance.
What we’re looking for
Experience as a Systems Administrator delivering technical solutions across Microsoft Intune in particular.
Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, hosting, cloud platforms, and security operations.
Proven ability to work on medium‑scale projects and apply ITIL best practice.
Excellent problem solving, analytical, prioritisation and time management skills.
Clear and confident communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
Ability to analyse, design and specify technical solutions including contributing to low‑level designs.
Skilled in producing procedural, technical and support documentation.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and make evidence‑based decisions based on impact and risk.
