Transport Administrator (Temp to Perm Opportunity)
Woolpit, Suffolk
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
£13.50 per hour (£28,000 equivalent)

We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing logistics business in Woolpit who are looking for a Transport Administrator to join their team. This role starts on a temporary basis but offers a pathway to a permanent position for the right person.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a key role in keeping transport operations running smoothly and efficiently. Your day-to-day will include:
Inputting and monitoring jobs using bespoke transport software
Tracking deliveries to ensure goods are collected and delivered on time
Supporting the planning of transport schedules and routes
Managing transport paperwork such as PODs and driver manifests
Communicating with drivers, warehouse teams, colleagues, and customers
Monitoring vehicle movements and delivery progress
Handling pallet network admin, including discrepancies and revenue checks

Previous customer service experience
Transport or logistics experience
Experience preparing reports (advantageous)
Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail
Confident and professional phone manner
Calm under pressure with a flexible, problem-solving approach
