Responsibilities in your new role as an Admin Assistant
As an Admin Assistant, you'll play an important role in keeping the office running smoothly. You'll be responsible for managing correspondence, maintaining accurate records, and responding to queries from both internal teams and external contacts. Your day-to-day duties will include scheduling meetings, carrying out data entry, and providing general administrative support to colleagues, as well as assisting with office supplies to ensure the workplace remains organised and efficient.
In addition, you'll support the technical team with detailed paperwork linked to product testing, ensuring chemical data, measurements, and records are accurately logged. You'll assist with sample preparation and sending products out to customers, liaise with internal teams including Quality, Marketing, and Production, and help coordinate materials required for testing processes.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We're looking for a confident and highly proactive individual with excellent PC literacy and strong computer skills, along with a keen eye for detail in all tasks. A proven track record in a similar administrative role is essential, as is the ability to follow structured processes and work efficiently. You'll be a confident communicator, comfortable collaborating across multiple teams, with excellent communication skills and a proactive, 'go getter' attitude.
