A specialist school in the B90 area is seeking a full‑time SLD Support Assistant to join their team immediately. This long‑term role involves supporting pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties, helping them access learning, develop key life skills, and feel safe and supported throughout the school day.
What the role involves
Full‑time, long‑term position starting ASAP
Supporting pupils with SLD and complex needs
Assisting with personalised learning plans and sensory activities
Providing emotional, behavioural and physical support where required
Working closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment
What the school is looking for
Experience with SLD, PMLD, or complex SEND

Confidence supporting communication and sensory needs
