Yard Operative / Shunter Driver – Near Driffield
£14.50 – £15.00 per hour | Day Shift | Ongoing Work | Immediate Start
Sutton Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established vegetable processing facility near Driffield and are currently seeking an experienced Yard Operative / Shunter Driver to join their team on a day shift basis.

Pay Rate:
£15.00 per hour – Applicants with valid Shunter experience/qualifications
£14.50 per hour – Applicants with Counterbalance FLT licence only
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
The Role:
Moving trailers and vehicles safely around the yard (shunting duties if qualified)
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
Loading and unloading goods as required
Supporting warehouse and dispatch operations
Carrying out daily safety checks on equipment
Maintaining a safe and organised yard area
What We’re Looking For:
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
Shunter qualification/experience (advantageous for higher rate)
Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or logistics environment preferred
Strong awareness of health and safety
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
Own transport required due to location and shift times
