We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Assistant to join our clients busy Conveyancing department. - Minimum 2 years’ experience in a conveyancing legal office environment (essential)
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support to Head of Conveyancer to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Act as a first point of contact for clients, handling calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.

Prepare, file, and manage legal documents and correspondence.

Monitor deadlines, manage diaries, and maintain accurate calendars.

Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Use internal CRM systems and standard office software effectively.

Proactively support the team by prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
Requirements

Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role.

Strong understanding of legal procedures and day-to-day operations of a legal practice.

Excellent organisational and secretarial skills.

High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Office.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
