Head Chef – B&I, EC2 London, £60k Monday to Friday
Located in the City of London, this corporate site is looking for a strong and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen operation and elevate the food offer. Catering for mainly for retail with some hospitality, the service consists of a busy breakfast and lunch with all menus being up to date in terms of trends and concepts.
What you’ll be doing:
Responsible for the kitchen operation and all food produced
Manage, lead and develop the team ensuring consistent quality and standards are maintained
Manage GP, budget control, wastage and compliance
Constantly monitor menus and evolve as needed
Work alongside the GM to drive the business forward
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
What we are looking for:
A strong Head Chef with a proven track record
Ideally experience within B&I or a similar environment
Excellent management skills with the ability to lead and develop a team
Hands on with a genuine passion for food, ingredients and service
Financially astute – able to manage GP and budget
Good communication skills
