Our client is currently recruiting for a Customer Liaison Officer to support a major retrofit and energy efficiency programme across the Yorkshire region. This is a temporary position for an initial 6-month period, with the potential to become permanent.
The ideal candidate will be based around the Leeds area, with flexibility to travel across surrounding locations including West and North Yorkshire coastal and regional areas.
This is an urgent requirement, and we are looking for someone available to interview and start immediately.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
The Project
You will be supporting the delivery of a large-scale sustainability and carbon reduction programme, focused on improving the energy efficiency of residential properties. The role plays a key part in ensuring residents are informed, engaged, and supported throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively manage and follow up on no-access properties, arranging appointments for surveys and works

Build strong relationships with residents and local communities through effective engagement and communication

Clearly explain upcoming works, timelines, and expectations to customers

Act as the primary point of contact for residents, handling queries and concerns with professionalism and empathy

Coordinate access to properties to ensure projects run smoothly and on time

Resolve any access or resident-related issues, escalating where necessary

Maintain accurate records of communications, appointments, and outcomes
Requirements
Essential:

Previous experience in a customer liaison or resident engagement role

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations

Resilient, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Competent in Microsoft Office

Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience within social housing or property services
