About Us
At Contact Web, we are a leading Contact Centre outsourcing business, delivering high-quality, sales-driven customer engagement for our clients. We are now welcoming a motivated and target-driven Sales & Customer Advisor to our team.
Job Overview
In this role, you’ll be responsible for guiding customers through later-life planning solutions, turning enquiries into confident decisions. You’ll manage inbound opportunities, proactively follow up with prospects, and use your consultative sales approach to match customers with the services that best meet their needs.
You’ll play a vital role in generating revenue, improving conversion rates, and ensuring customers feel supported, informed, and confident at every stage — from first enquiry to post-sale care.
Key Responsibilities
-
Handle inbound enquiries relating to pre-paid funeral and at-need services, identifying customer needs and sales opportunities.
-
Proactively follow up with leads and warm prospects to progress conversations and drive conversions.
-
Use a consultative sales approach to recommend tailored solutions that align with each customer’s circumstances.
-
Confidently promote, cross-sell, and up-sell relevant services to maximise value for both the customer and the business.
-
Build trust and rapport with customers, including those who may be vulnerable, while maintaining a professional and ethical sales approach.
-
Work towards individual and team sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
-
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems to support pipeline management and follow-ups.
-
Ensure all activity remains fully compliant with FCA and industry regulations.
Key Requirements
-
Proven ability or strong desire to work in a sales-focused, target-driven environment.
-
Excellent communication and objection-handling skills, with the ability to guide customers to confident decisions.
-
Previous experience in telesales, B2C sales, retention, or customer conversion roles is highly desirable.
-
Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-first, consultative mindset.
-
Comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office to manage pipelines and customer data.
-
High attention to detail and ability to balance compliance with commercial outcomes.
-
Experience in funeral care, estate planning, financial services, or regulated sales environments is advantageous but not essential.
What We Offer
-
Competitive salary plus performance-based commission and incentives.
-
Clear progression pathways within a growing, sales-driven organisation.
-
Ongoing training in consultative selling, compliance, and customer engagement.
-
A supportive, energetic team culture that celebrates performance and success
