Our client is delivering a prestigious, high-profile project in the heart of Newcastle and is seeking an experienced Business Administrator (Mechanical & Electrical) to support their growing team.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth site operations, accurate documentation control, and effective coordination across all project stakeholders. You will be the organisational backbone of the M&E delivery team, ensuring compliance, communication, and project efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Administration

O&M manual chasing and production

As-built drawing coordination and follow-up

Weekly project drop-line updates in Asta, comparing actual vs. realised schedules

Setting up site Health & Safety files

Project aftercare coordination
General Administration

Managing attendance, sickness, holidays, and corporate entertainment records

Stationery ordering and stock control
-
Booking travel: train tickets, hotels, and related logistics

New starter coordination and onboarding support

Printing drawings and project documentation
-
Managing Egnyte file links and digital organisation

Maintaining the office noticeboard

Conducting DSE assessments

Acting as First Aider / Mental Health First Aider / Fire Warden (training provided if needed)

Ensuring general office tidiness and smooth day‑to‑day operations
