Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)

This is a great opportunity to join a major construction programme where your work will directly support the safe and efficient coordination of traffic across complex sites. You'll collaborate with contractors, local authorities, and project teams, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
As a Traffic Assistant, you'll support the Traffic Manager in coordinating traffic and transport activities, ensuring plans are compliant, well-documented, and delivered effectively.
·Liaise with contractors, consultants, and highways authorities
·Review traffic management plans and support programme delivery
·Maintain accurate records, data, and documentation
·Assist with highway approvals and ensure compliance with standards

Requirements
·Experience in traffic management, highways, or a similar field
·Knowledge of temporary traffic management (Chapter 8)
·Strong reporting skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
·Degree in transport/highways or equivalent experience
·Organised, detail-oriented, and confident communicator
