HR Assistant (Part-Time - 4 Days per Week)
9.00am - 5.00pm | Hybrid Working (1 day from home)
We're working with a well-established, highly regarded professional services business that is looking to appoint an HR Assistant to join its friendly and supportive team.
This is a varied, hands-on role within a small HR function. It would suit someone who enjoys being at the heart of a busy team, getting involved across the full employee lifecycle, and building strong relationships across the business.
The role will involve:
Acting as a first point of contact for general HR queries, providing guidance on policies and procedures
Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, including contracts, referencing and inductions
Assisting with recruitment coordination and general HR administration
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring GDPR compliance
Supporting performance review and appraisal processes
Liaising with payroll providers and assisting with payroll-related queries
Contributing to HR projects, audits and continuous improvement initiativesAbout you:
Previous HR experience within a busy environment
Good understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident communicator, able to build relationships at all levels
Comfortable using HR systems and Microsoft Office/SharePointWhat's on offer:
