We are renowned for our advanced, commercially-focused solutions and our unwavering commitment to excellence.Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you are responsible for the successful completion of routine, reactive remedial work on the sites we operate on, working in a safe efficient manner at all times. In this exciting role as the regional MRA (Mining Remediation Authority) Instrument Technician, you are responsible for ensuring all instruments are fully operational and calibrated to industry standards. Ensuring routine maintenance, and troubleshooting are conducted to a high standard which in turn ensures reliability, efficiency, and safety are optimised. This role will participate in our 'out of hours' emergency standby rota, attending call outs in a timely manner and proactively carrying out repairs to ensure compliance is maintained. Key responsibilitiesPerform preventative and emergency maintenance on instrumentation systems and control valves to minimise downtimeCarry out daily routine maintenance work on various treatment facilities, including general cleaning, sampling, and maintenance tasksInstall, set up, and test new instrumentation components during project work or facility upgradesAssist the Regional Operations Manager in planning daily routes in an efficient/productive mannerProvide excellent data and verbal feedback to Head Office in a variety of mediaMaintain an excellent standard of Health and Safety ensuring all issues, concerns and incidents are reported correctly, in a timely mannerAdhere to all Alpheus/Client's procedures, policies, work instructions and requirementsEnsure you are in possession of, and wearing appropriate PPE and safety equipment when required and reporting any deficiencies immediatelyResponsible for site safety and site tidiness to the highest standards As a valued employee you'll be entitled to:Personal private health care.25 days annual leave.Life Cover at 8x your salary.Personal Accident cover - up to 5x your salary.Flexible working.Competitive pension scheme - Anglian Water double-matches your contributions up to 6%.Bonus scheme.Flexible benefits to support your wellbeing and lifestyle.
