We are working on behalf of a local authority housing organisation to recruit a temporary Repairs Administrator to support their Housing Disrepair Team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a busy, customer-focused environment, with the potential to transition into a longer-term or permanent role once the organisation’s restructure is complete.
The Role
The Repairs Administrator will play a key role in supporting the team to deliver an efficient disrepair service. This is a fully office-based position, working on-site in Chesterfield, with responsibility for handling high volumes of tenant communications and ensuring accurate administrative processes are maintained.
Key Responsibilities of a Repairs Administrator:
Manage shared inboxes and respond to tenant emails relating to disrepair cases
Update and maintain trackers/spreadsheets with accurate case and job information
Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to tenants regarding repair jobs
Liaise with tenants to gather updates and information on reported issues
Book appointments for tenants as required
Provide general administrative support to the disrepair teamWhat We'd Love To See From You:
Strong administrative experience in a busy, customer-facing environment
Confident communicating with tenants by phone and email
Competent in using spreadsheets and managing inboxes
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Able to work full-time in the Chesterfield office
