Labourer - Nottingham
Role Purpose
To support depot operations by preparing, maintaining, and moving hire equipment, ensuring everything is safe, clean, and ready for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment preparation: clean, fuel, and check equipment
- Yard duties: keep areas tidy and organised
- Delivery support: assist drivers with loading/unloading
- Basic maintenance: simple repairs and fault reporting
- Stock handling: move equipment and assist with stock checks
- Health & Safety: follow procedures and use PPE
Skills & Experience Required
- Physically fit
- Basic mechanical awareness (preferred)
- Team player with strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn- Driving licence (preferred)
Desirable
- Experience in plant hire or construction
- Forklift licence
Whats on offer
£27,000
40 hour week - Monday-Friday with potential overtime and weekends.
25 days holiday plus banks
