An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-driven Bookkeeper & Accounts Assistant to join a growing, design-led business operating within London’s high-end residential and super-prime property sector.

The Role
You’ll play a key role in keeping the finance function running smoothly, supporting both operational and strategic activities. Responsibilities include:

Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration

Recording transactions accurately within accounting software

Performing bank and card reconciliations
-
Processing supplier payments and managing the purchase ledger

Raising and issuing customer invoices
-
Monitoring and chasing debtors and creditors
-
Maintaining accurate and well-organised financial records
-
Supporting payroll and expenses processes
-
Maintaining VAT records and assisting with VAT returns
-
Preparing basic management reports

Supporting year-end processes and liaising with external accountants
About You

Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounts assistant role

Strong attention to detail and organisation skills

Comfortable working independently and taking ownership

Proficient with accounting software and Excel

A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to prioritise

MUST HAVE AAT LEVEL 3 QUALIFICATON (this is a key requirement)
