Salary: £14,742 per annum (FTE £24,570)
Hours: Part Time - 22.5 hours per week (days to be agreed on appointment)
Contract: Fixed term contract until 31st October 2028
Location: Flexibility between our Littlehampton, Worthing and Southwick bases and hybrid working options available
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per year rising to 27 days after 2 years

Overview:
Are you a motivated and organised individual, with good IT skills and experience of managing administrative tasks? Do you also have experience of providing encouragement and support to colleagues and the general public in a busy environment? We are looking for an Administrative & Volunteer Support Assistant for our Volunteering Service.
This role will include:
- Being the first point of contact for all volunteer related enquiries
- Administrative tasks relating to the recruitment, training, induction, supervision and celebration of volunteers
- Contributing to the promotion of a positive culture of volunteering in West Sussex Mind and in particular the support of the Peer Volunteer Pathway
The successful candidate will have:
- Good literacy, numeracy, IT and digital skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Experience in an administrative role within a busy office environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and processes and problem solve with creativity and flexibility
- Some understanding and interest around mental health and recovery approaches in mental health work.
You will be working in a friendly and supportive environment, with access to regular supervision, training opportunities, employee assistance and a generous leave allowance.
