Property Services Assistant

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Property Services Assistant to join our busy Property Services team based at our Hemel Hempstead head office.
The Role
As a Property Services Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting the effective management and maintenance of our housing stock. Your work will help ensure our properties remain safe, well-maintained and compliant-ultimately contributing to a high-quality service for our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing administrative support to the Property Services Team, including booking appointments, scanning, invoicing and sending standard letters.
Updating internal databases
Assisting with Fire Risk Assessment processes
Liaising with contractors, residents and colleagues to coordinate access and ensure smooth running of service contracts.
Administering the caretaking ticketing system and ordering supplies.
Gathering stock condition and property data, ensuring accurate data entry and updates.
Supporting EV charging management across sites including tariffs, usage data and tenant liaison.
Producing accurate site maps using interactive systems to support sustainability reporting and grounds maintenance planning.
Assisting with SARs, disclosure documents and disrepair claim information collation.About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, confident working independently and comfortable liaising with a variety of people.
You will need:
Good numerical, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong IT skills, including Excel and Word, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
A good understanding of housing construction.
Experience maintaining accurate records.
The ability to work independently and show excellent attention to detail.
