We’re looking for a motivated Team Admin Assistant to play a key role in supporting the smooth and safe operations at our clients Bacton gas terminal.
This part-time position offers you the chance to bring your administrative expertise to a vital industrial setting while working closely with a dedicated team. From managing diaries and coordinating meetings to handling confidential information and supporting maintenance activities, your role will be central to keeping the terminal running efficiently.
Required Skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work under pressure
Strong initiative with a proactive and assertive approach
Discretion and ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Accurate word processing skills (RSA qualification or equivalent 60 WPM typing speed)
Experience supporting administrative functions such as diary management, meeting coordination, and minute-taking
Must hold a driving licence Nice to Have Skills
Familiarity with operational activities related to gas terminals or similar industrial environments
Experience using Maximo and SAP systems (training can be provided)
Understanding of commercial agreements and process awareness
Previous involvement in facilities management or vendor liaison
Ability to create work packs and assist with KPI data reportingPreferred Education and Experience
Administration qualification (e.g., RSA or equivalent)
Previous experience in an operational or administrative role within a gas terminal or comparable environment preferredOther Requirements
Part-time availability, working 4 days per week from 8am to 4pm
