Our NHS client based in Middlesbrough has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Catering Assistant to join their team as soon as possible!
The role is due to start as soon as possible and will be a temporary on going position in the first instance.
The hours of work will be 11:00am-3:00pm Monday to Friday (20 hours) with a pay rate of £12.21 per hour.
As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for:
· Assisting with the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers
· Ensuring the restaurant and service areas are clean and tidy
· Ensuring health & safety and food safety regulations are followed
· Maintaining outstanding levels of customer service, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, cash register operations and safeguarding company assets
· General cleaning of the food areas
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar role, the ability to accurately processing information through the till system with a good standard of numeracy, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
