Job details:

Using reach and counterbalance trucks to un-load, load, move materials on and off racking.

Wrapping, packing and un-packing finished and incoming goods. Mostly engineered products, crankshafts, blocks, heads and other engine parts etc.

Use of component washing machines and packaging equipment.

General housekeeping of workshop and routine machine maintenance/safety checks.
-
Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Maintain standards of health, safety and hygine in the workplace including the yard areas.

Some delivery and collection driving (under 3.5 tonne).

Familiar with and engineering environment.
-
Fork lift truck or reach truck, RTITB or ITSAR Licence reqd.

Driving licence required.

Willing to learn new skills

Understand HSEQ Standards & requirements.

Ensuring safe working systems and practices are followed using permit to work and lock out tag out systems

Good standard in maths and english

Have an ability to work to a high standard of quality.
