Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance Forklift Licence)
Location: Aberdeen
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour (to be increased 1st Apr amount TBC)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (12 weeks)

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
37.5 hours per week
1‑hour unpaid lunch break

Key Responsibilities
Operate forklift trucks safely in line with company procedures
Support garment decoration processes, including heat sealing
Pick, pack and prepare stock for internal distribution and dispatch
Load and unload deliveries efficiently and safely
Carry out general warehouse and housekeeping duties
Maintain a clean, organised and compliant working environment
Assist colleagues to help the team meet daily operational targets
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Skills Required
Confident forklift operation
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic
Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
Basic IT or scanning‑system skills (advantageous but not essential)
Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or stores environment
Understanding of safe manual handlingDesirable:
Knowledge of garment decoration or heat sealing processes
Experience using warehouse management systems
Familiarity with stock control and goods‑in/goods‑out procedures
