ERSG is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Administrator to join our Operations team in Bromley. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys juggling multiple priorities, and is enthusiastic about delivering high-quality administrative support across a dynamic business.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail as well as being a fast learner. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, with excellent organisational skills, a proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Previous experience in an office environment, ideally in a contractor payroll/finance role is preferred, but full training will be provided.
Responsibilities include:
Processing of timesheet & expense information from various sources.
Ensuring our contractors are paid accurately and in accordance with our weekly & monthly payment schedules.
Processing of UK & International payments.
Weekly & Monthly contractor payroll reconciliations.
Uploading and reconciliation of payroll data to our Finance system.
Verify timekeeping records to ensure compliance with company policies.
Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Support other operational initiatives and special projects as required.
Internal collaboration to ensure any queries are resolved in a timely manner.
About you:
Prior Payroll/Finance experience preferred, but full training will be provided.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel.
RSM In-Time, Bullhorn & Sage experience would be preferred.
A problem-solving mindset supporting the team to deliver exceptional service delivery focused on continuous improvement in a demanding environment.
Highly meticulous with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Able to perform well under pressure with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
This role is mostly office based, with the option to work 1 day from home upon completion of training
