About you
You are an experienced Rewind Operator who is comfortable working in a busy production environment.
You know how important this stage of the process is. If the rewind is not done properly, the whole job can be affected. You take pride in keeping things accurate, organised and running smoothly.
This is a small team, so reliability matters. You are someone who can come in, understand the workflow quickly and get stuck in without needing constant supervision.
If you are looking for a stable role within a professional print environment in Bradford where your experience will be valued, this could suit you well.
Your experience
You have previous experience operating slitting or rewinding machines within a labels, packaging or print manufacturing environment.
You understand the rewind process, including quality checking, roll finishing and ensuring work is prepared correctly for the next stage of production or dispatch.
Experience on specific makes of slitting or rewinding equipment is not essential. The fundamentals are the same across most machines and the business is happy to train you on their equipment.
You are organised, reliable and able to work efficiently within a small production team.
You understand the importance of maintaining quality standards while working to production deadlines.
What you will be doing with your experience in this role
You will operate slitting and rewinding machinery to ensure printed material is finished correctly and prepared for the next stage of production.
You will check rolls for quality, ensuring the finished product meets the required standards before leaving your department.
You will monitor the machine during runs, making adjustments where needed to keep everything running smoothly.
You will work closely with the wider production team to keep workflow moving and ensure jobs are completed on time.
As this is a smaller site, you will play an important role in keeping production consistent and efficient.
