Job Description
What you'll do
The client is a young lady in her teenage years who has a multitude of complex care needs due to SMA Type-2, and during your day-to-day, you will be monitoring her various clinical needs, which include the following:
Tracheostomy Management
Ventilation Support
PEG Feeding For Medication Administration & Hydration via Mic-Key Button
Suctioning For Respiratory Secretions
Catheter & Stoma Care
Moving & Handling (Wheelchair & Hoist)
Performing personal care and domestic duties when required, school preparations.
Qualifications
What you'll need
Experience in complex care is required for position prior to interview, especially in the following:
Tracheostomy
Ventilators (NIPPY 4)
PEG / Gastronomy Care
Catheter Care
Bowel Management
Administering medication via PEG
Suction machines
Moving & handling equipment. (Wheelchair & Hoist)
