Our client, an innovative and fast-growing organisation, is seeking a motivated Cyber Security Assistant to join their information security team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about technology and security to gain hands-on experience while learning how organisations defend their systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Assisting with monitoring systems and networks for potential security threats or vulnerabilities

Supporting security incident investigations and helping document findings

Helping maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation

Assisting with vulnerability assessments and security testing activities

Supporting security awareness initiatives and helping promote best practices across the organisation

Working with IT teams to ensure security measures are implemented and maintained
What We’re Looking For:

A degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not essential)

Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and information security principles

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
