We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger) to join a well-established, family-run business on a temporary basis. This role offers the opportunity to work within a small finance team, managing the Purchase Ledger while providing support across Sales Ledger, administration, and compliance. For the right candidate this role has the potential to go permanent.
What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
Managing end-to-end purchase ledger processing
Conducting supplier statement reconciliations
Assisting with the preparation of the payment run
Supporting with the sales ledger and credit control responsibilities
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
Past experience in a similar role
Basic excel skills - ability to manipulate data
Highly organised with great attention to detail
