While our Covent Garden theatre is the nerve centre, the impact and influence of the organisation can be felt in every corner of the country, and around the world.The Royal Opera Chorus is the backbone of The Royal Opera and, under the leadership of Chorus Director William Spaulding and his deputy Genevieve Ellis, performs in an average of 20 productions each season in a wide repertory ranging from Baroque through to newly commissioned works.We are currently recruiting for one permanent, full-time contract for the Royal Opera Chorus. Auditions will be split into two rounds. Unsighted, first round Auditions will be held between 20th – 21st April 2026. Successful candidates will then be invited to a second round of auditions between 7th and 8th May 2026.
