Role Overview – NPI Administrator
We are supporting a global engineering organisation in the recruitment of an NPI Administrator to join their New Product Introduction (NPI) team in Tewkesbury. This role plays a vital part in ensuring new products are introduced into the business smoothly, accurately, and in line with internal processes.
As part of a world‑leading polymer engineering company, you will work closely with Production, Engineering, Commercial, and Quality teams to coordinate new product data, manage documentation, support tooling and BOM creation, and ensure all NPI activities are administered effectively.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, good technical awareness, and a proactive approach who enjoys working in a fast‑paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities – NPI Administrator
Support the introduction of new products by ensuring all documentation and data is created, updated, and maintained accurately.
Administer new product requests, ensuring production, quality, and engineering teams receive correct and complete information.
Assist with creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new product launches.
Support tooling administration activities, including raising tooling requests and tracking progress.
Help prepare and distribute documentation required for NPI projects, such as drawings, specifications, and cost data.
Maintain accurate records within ERP systems and internal databases.
Work closely with the NPI team to monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
Provide general administrative support across NPI activities including data entry, report preparation, and communication with internal stakeholders.
Key Experience & Qualifications – NPI Administrator
Experience within an administrative role in manufacturing, engineering, or a technical environment.
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Experience using ERP systems (SAP advantageous).
Good attention to detail with the ability to manage data accurately.
Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with multiple departments.
Highly organised with strong time‑management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
A proactive, hands‑on approach with a willingness to learn and support wider team activities.
