Job Title: Engineering Administrator

About the Role We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Engineering Administrator to support our engineering team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the engineering department by maintaining accurate records, managing engineering documentation, and supporting engineering workflows.
A core responsibility of the role is the creation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the company’s ERP system. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure accurate data management and efficient coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and update engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs) accurately within the ERP system.
Provide administrative support to the engineering team, including document management, data entry, and record keeping.
Assist with the preparation and management of engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Coordinate the flow of information between engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and other departments.
Ensure engineering documentation is well organised, up-to-date, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Track and record engineering design changes, revisions, and updates in line with company processes.
Support project planning and scheduling by providing accurate engineering data and reports.
Assist with managing engineering-related workflows within the ERP system.
Provide general administrative support to the Engineering Manager and engineering team.
Qualifications & Experience
Level 4 Engineering qualification or diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.
Previous experience in an engineering administration, technical support, or document control role.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and management.
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, and administrative teams.
