A well-established and welcoming early years setting in Eastleigh is currently seeking a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join their dedicated team. This opportunity is being advertised on behalf of our client by a recruitment agency specialising in education and childcare roles.
The nursery prides itself on providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore and develop through play.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment for young children
Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Observing and recording children’s progress and development
Supporting children’s social, emotional and educational development
Ensuring safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed at all times Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (or equivalent)
A genuine passion for working with young children
A good understanding of the EYFS framework
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
An enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one What Our Client Offers
