Sales Administrator
£30K
Trafford Park
If you enjoy dealing with customers and keeping things organised behind the scenes, this could be a great move. Office-based. 8 to 5. Monday to Friday.
The HVAC industry may not sound terribly glamorous, but it’s growing rapidly as green technology replaces carbon-heavy oil and gas heating systems.
My client is one of the leading HVAC distributors and they’re now looking for a Sales Administrator to help ensure their customers receive the right products, at the right time, with the right support.
It’s an excellent opportunity if you’re looking for an interesting, varied role with a friendly, established company that’s continuing to grow.
Part customer service, part sales support
The company’s customers are mainly tradespeople and contractors. They place orders and rely on the company to make sure everything runs smoothly so they can get on with the job.
You’ll play a key role in making that happen — processing orders, liaising with customers, and following up on deliveries to make sure everything arrives as expected.
You’ll also handle incoming enquiries by phone and email, helping customers with order updates, product availability and resolving any issues such as missing items or billing queries.
The role is office-based, working closely with colleagues in accounts, logistics and technical support to make sure everything stays on track.
Alongside this, you’ll be building strong relationships with customers who value reliable service and responsive support.
Organiser? Problem-solver? People person?
Ideally, you’ll have experience in an administrative or sales support role, particularly in a business that supplies trade or commercial customers.
You’ll understand how important it is to keep orders moving and customers informed, and you’ll be confident working with colleagues across different departments to resolve any issues quickly.
HVAC experience isn’t necessary. It’s not a technical role, and there’s a dedicated technical support team available if product questions come up.
More important is that you’re organised, comfortable using IT systems, and have good numeracy and communication skills — along with a calm, professional telephone manner.
In return
The role is fully office-based, working 8 to 5, Monday to Friday.
The company is based in Trafford Park.
The starting salary will reflect your experience, and there are some good employee benefits including a strong pension and 25 days’ holiday.
As for the future, you’d be joining a successful business that believes in developing and promoting its own people
