About the role
You will be responsible for
Working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern within a busy operational environment.
Safely and efficiently handle all types of cargo during port operations.
Carrying out a range of terminal activities, including tug driving, rigging and signalling, forklift operation, and vessel planning.
Adhering to all legislation, company policies, and safety procedures to ensure the wellbeing of all personnel.
Proactively identify and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Engaging openly and honestly with colleagues, taking ownership of your role and contributing to a collaborative, positive workplace culture.
About you
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A team-oriented mindset, combined with a positive and open attitude, is essential. Additionally, evidence of effective organizational skills, including the ability to take initiative and act independently, is highly valued for this role. Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
