Role: Parts Handler
Location: Warrington, WA1 4RZ
Hours: 40 hours per week | between 07:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £29,064 pa DOE
Are you organised, hands-on, and ready to support a busy parts operation? We're looking for a reliable and detail-focused Parts Handler to join our automotive clients Parts Department in Warrington!
This is a practical role where you'll be responsible for picking, packing, and dispatching OEM spare parts to both internal teams and external customers. You'll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately pick and pack spare parts based on customer and workshop orders
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and reporting
Prepare and label shipments in line with company and shipping standards
Inspect parts for damage or defects before dispatch
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks
Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic records
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfilment
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience in a spare parts or stores environment
Comfortable working at height using access equipment and high bay aisle pickers
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Forklift truck licence (Counterbalance) is desirable
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Able to work independently and use initiative to solve problems
Willing to work outdoors and across rotating shift patterns
Flexible with working hours and available for overtime when required
