Adult Social Worker – Review Team
Location: Hybrid working – London Borough of Hackney
Hours: 36 hours per week
Rate: £32 per hour (Umbrella) (£26 PAYE)
Contract: Initially 3 months - Potential to be extended after this time
We are currently recruiting on behalf of Hackney Council for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join their Review Team on a hybrid working basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dedicated team supporting Hackney residents by ensuring that care and support arrangements remain appropriate, effective, and in line with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Complete statutory and unscheduled reviews for Hackney residents receiving adult social care services.
Ensure reviews are completed in accordance with relevant legislation and local authority procedures.
Assess whether current care and support arrangements continue to meet the needs and outcomes of service users.
Undertake any work associated with the review process, including safeguarding enquiries where required.
Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and partner agencies to ensure person-centred outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
Registered with Social Work England.
Experience working within Adult Social Care in a local authority setting.
Strong understanding of Care Act duties, safeguarding processes, and statutory review responsibilities.
Ability to manage a varied caseload and work both independently and as part of a team.What's on Offer
