Our client in Manchester has an exciting opportunity for a conveyancing assistant with 2+ years’ experience to join their Stockport office.
Working alongside experienced conveyancers, you’ll support a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, managing files from initial instruction right through to completion and closure.
Key responsibilities:

Support the team with the full range of residential conveyancing matters, from initial instruction through to file closing.

Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, referrers, and estate agents by phone and email to progress transactions smoothly.

Handle a range of tasks including file opening, ordering of title documents and searches and preparing required forms and documentation with the supervision of a fee earner.

Maintain accurate, compliant, and well‑organised files in line with regulatory and internal standards.
About you:

2+ years’ experience in a similar role.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients, colleagues, and external parties.

Confident using IT systems, including document management tools and Microsoft Office applications.

Able to work accurately under pressure, managing competing deadlines with strong organisational skills.

An understanding of property transactions and conveyancing processes is beneficial, though training can be provided
