Responsibilities

Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and mobility support

Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each person's needs

Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance quality of life

Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems

Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery

Support with medication administration as per training and guidelines

Assist with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

Drive between different care locations if required, ensuring timely and reliable service delivery
Experience
-
Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided

Familiarity with developing and following care plans is desirable

Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites or clients’ homes

Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues
