Our client, a well-established organisation operating within a specialist technical environment, is seeking a Cable Assistant to join its operations team based in High Wycombe. This is a hands-on, entry-level position offering structured training and long-term development within a fast-paced operational setting.
The successful candidate will support equipment preparation, vehicle loading, on-site assistance, and general warehouse operations. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to develop practical technical skills within a growing international business.
Key Responsibilities

Loading specialist vehicles in line with load sheets and operational requirements

Safe unloading and checking of equipment following project completion

Preparing, testing, maintaining, and organising cabling systems (full training provided)

Supporting fibre-related technical tasks (training provided)

Assisting with stock control and equipment organisation

Carrying out general warehouse duties

Undertaking occasional driving duties using company vehicles

Supporting on-site teams with setup and de-rig activities

Maintaining high standards of health & safety compliance at all times

Completing relevant documentation accurately

Participating in a weekend rota shared across the team
Candidate Profile

Full UK driving licence essential
