Job Description
An experienced and highly professional Executive Personal Assistant is required to provide comprehensive and confidential support to the Principal of a thriving secondary school.
This is a pivotal role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a dynamic and ambitious educational environment. The successful candidate will play a central part in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the Principal's office, supporting strategic priorities, organisational processes and school development.
The role requires exceptional organisational skills, discretion, initiative and the ability to manage competing demands with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level, confidential administrative and executive support to the Principal.
Manage complex diaries, correspondence and meeting schedules, ensuring effective time management.
Prepare reports, documentation and briefing materials to support leadership activity.
Act as a key point of contact between the Principal and internal and external stakeholders.
Support the coordination and administration of recruitment and selection processes.
Assist in the development and organisation of marketing materials and communication strategies.
Contribute to the ongoing development of a strong and positive organisational culture.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
Undertake additional duties appropriate to the level of the role to support the effective running of the school.
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive support role.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience coordinating recruitment or HR-related processes (desirable).
Confidence working independently and using initiative.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
