About the Role
Our client in Pontefract requires a highly organised, reliable and proactive Office Administration Manager to become the backbone of our busy operation based in Pontefract.
This is a hands-on role supporting the business owner with all aspects of administration and customer service. You’ll be the steady, trustworthy pair of hands that keeps everything running smoothly — and yes, being able to make a great cup of tea definitely helps!
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm | Friday 7:30am – 2:00pm
Key Responsibilities

Providing full administrative support to the Business Owner

Answering incoming calls and handling customer enquiries professionally

Raising and processing invoices

Scheduling works and coordinating diaries for teams of fitters and welders

Planning and organising jobs across North East England, Yorkshire and Lancashire

Booking accommodation (e.g. hotels) when required

Managing general office duties and maintaining organised records

Acting as the first point of contact for customers and suppliers
Some days you’ll be working independently in the office, and other days you’ll be alongside a small office team (3–4 colleagues) plus production staff — so confidence working both autonomously and collaboratively is important.
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in office administration or office management

Strong organisational and scheduling skills
