Tradewind Recruitment Durham is currently recruiting for an experienced and highly organised School Administrator to join an Outstanding secondary school in Richmond. The Role
Working as part of a busy school office team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of administrative operations. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff, maintaining a professional and friendly front-of-house presence.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing incoming calls, emails, and enquiries
Supporting attendance and pupil data management
Maintaining accurate student records using the school's MIS system
Assisting with admissions and general office administration
Providing administrative support to senior leaders and teaching staff
Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working in a school or busy office environment
Strong knowledge of school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, or similar) desirable
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Professional, approachable, and confident manner
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality in a school setting
