As an Assistant Director of Repairs, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Property Repairs service, ensuring responsive, void, cyclical and facilities management services are delivered to the highest standards of quality, compliance and customer satisfaction. Leading and overseeing responsive repairs, void repairs, cyclical maintenance and facilities management across the social housing portfolio
Driving strong performance management, service quality and value for money
Ensuring full compliance with housing legislation, regulatory standards and statutory obligations
Delivering high levels of tenant satisfaction and safe, professional service standards
Managing budgets, resources and operational risk effectively
Working collaboratively with other service areas to enhance overall service delivery
Contributing as a member of the Corporate Leadership Team to organisational strategy and sustainable growthProjects span responsive and planned works across occupied homes and community buildings.
The successful Assistant Director of Repairs will have:
Extensive senior leadership experience within social housing repairs and maintenance
Strong knowledge of housing legislation, regulatory compliance and health & safety obligations
Proven experience leading large operational teams and driving service improvement
Strong financial and budget management capability
Experience managing contractors and performance frameworks
The ability to influence at Executive and Board level
