Salary: Scale 5, Spine Points 12–17 (£26,173–£28,682 FTE / £22,888–£25,083 pro rata)
About the Role:
We are working in partnership with a large secondary academy in West London to recruit a Behaviour & Attendance Administrator to join their pastoral team. This is a vital role supporting behaviour, attendance and safeguarding processes across the school, working closely with senior leaders, pastoral staff and external agencies.
The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring accurate data management, effective communication with families and early intervention to support positive outcomes for students. This role would suit an experienced school administrator with strong attention to detail and a calm, professional approach.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining accurate behaviour and attendance records on the school MIS (Arbor)

Recording, monitoring and reporting on behaviour incidents, sanctions and interventions

Producing regular reports for senior leaders, Heads of Year and pastoral teams

Supporting the coordination of detentions, internal exclusions and reintegration meetings

Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality in collaboration with the Attendance Officer and EWO

Contacting parents/carers regarding absences in line with school procedures

Preparing documentation for attendance meetings, referrals and external agencies

Supporting pastoral administration, including meeting scheduling and student record keeping

Liaising professionally with students, parents and staff to promote a positive school culture

Ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
Requirements:

Experience working in a UK school or educational setting

Previous administrative experience, ideally within attendance, behaviour or pastoral support

Confident use of MIS systems such as Arbor or SIMS

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

Professional communication skills when dealing with parents, students and staff

Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
