Hire Administrator
Salary: £14.42 per hour
Hours: 40 per week, Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm, 30min lunch)
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x
Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional with experience in groundcare machinery? We’re partnering with a leading dealership to find a Hire Administrator who will manage hire agreements for commercial groundcare equipment, including ride-on mowers, compact tractors, pedestrian mowers, and turf machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, manage, and maintain hire agreements for commercial groundcare equipment
Schedule deliveries, collections, and off-hires in collaboration with workshop and transport teams
Ensure equipment availability, condition, and hire duration are accurately recorded
Communicate with customers regarding hire terms, extensions, damage, and returns
Raise hire invoices, ensuring correct pricing and damage charges are applied
Maintain accurate records of all hired equipment, including serial numbers and usage
Support compliance with safety requirements, operating instructions, and hire conditions
Produce hire reports and assist with stock and utilisation tracking
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a dealership or hire environment, ideally with commercial machinery
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Confident working with systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
